The year was 1972, a free love revolution was sweeping America. Young women were finding their way in a world full of possibilities. Bell bottoms, records and lava lamps were all the rage, hitchhiking was a popular mode of transportation. 23-year-old Edmund Kemper was released from a psychiatric facility for the criminally insane and driving around Santa Cruz California unmonitored. His depraved nature was masked but unharnessed and women were not safe. His sick desires and fantasies would leave 6 families searching for answers, but the body count was higher than that in the end.
